Laure Barker, one of our Instructional Designers attended this year’s EAMTC Intructor Conference. It was a very successful, well attended seminar with EAMTC members participating in a combination of workshops and industry-expert led talks. We loved sharing good practice on learning and assessment methods with other organisations.

Changes proposed included a focus on competency-based teaching, new technologies including e-learning, simulation and blended teaching methods. Bram Van Driel, EASA representative, discussed regulation development including the new basic regulation and a range of upcoming changes, including a review of Part-66.

As a key player in the industry, our team are heavy involved in this vision with the recent project working on brand new eLearning modules (EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety, Human Factors).  In addition to this, Laure Barker and the Learning Design team are excited to announce the start of a large review of our Part-66 training material. New course syllabus, training notes and other resources will be released over the next two years and strengthening Resource Group’s classroom offering even further and highlight the team’s full capability.
